Free Online Summit to Explore the Frontiers of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Scheduled for Jan. 16-22, the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Global Summit will cover a wide range of topics.

The second-annual Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Global Summit will feature a who’s who of thought leaders, contributors and pioneers in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Scheduled for Jan. 16-22, the free online event will explore a range of topics, including:

  • Therapeutic applications for specific mental-health challenges and underlying traumas
  • Research and rescheduling for clinical application and decriminalization
  • Before-and-after preparation and integration for optimal treatment effectiveness
  • Standards, ethics and best practices for treatment and training therapists
  • Diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility

Participants will learn about the origins of psychedelic medicine, sacred reciprocity and different worldviews, as well as breakthroughs in treating conditions such as trauma, addiction, anxiety and depression, according to event organizers.

The lineup of speakers includes Deepak Chopra, Stanislav Grof, Rosalind Watts, Rick Doblin, Gita Vaid, Andrew Weil, Paul Stamets, and Bessel van der Kolk, among others.

Presented by the Heart Mind Institute, the summit is designed to cater to a wide audience, from the general public, clinicians and researchers to clients, policymakers and entrepreneurs. For licensed clinicians, the summit offers an additional benefit of 10 APA CE credits with the purchase of lifetime access.

Attendees will immediately receive access to three video interviews with key figures James Fadiman, Ifetayo Harvey and Dennis McKenna. Attendees will have 48 hours to view each day’s sessions for free. For lifetime access to the sessions, attendees will need to upgrade to a paid registration.
