Google co-founder Sergey Brin has invested in an ibogaine startup using the proceeds from the sale of his remaining Tesla shares, the Financial Times reported.
Brin’s nonprofit investment vehicle, Catalyst4, established with funds from his 2021 Tesla stock sale, has committed approximately $15 million to a $25 million funding round for Soneira, The Financial Times reported.
Soneira is launching a clinical trial to investigate ibogaine as a treatment for traumatic brain injuries.
