A Bright Future for Psychedelics Under Trump?

President-elect may be more open to psychedelics than many would assume.

Despite concerns over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s anti-vaccine stance and controversial views over everything from raw milk to hydroxychloroquine, his position in the Trump administration could advance the psychedelic movement.

As Politico reports, Kennedy wrote on X last month that “aggressive suppression of psychedelics” was among the Food and Drug Administration regulatory decisions he plans to change.

Politico highlighted Kennedy’s X post stating the “FDA’s war on public health is about to end.”

The article also noted that Trump backer Elon Musk has been known to use various psychedelics and has stated he has a ketamine prescription.

Also, Silicon Valley venture capitalist Peter Thiel, another member of the pro-Trump camp, is a major investor psychedelic drugmaker Atai, the article notes.
